How it all started...
Sunrise officially became a church in 1934! We are excited to be coming up on almost 90 years in existence! Sunrise people come from several communities in the tri-county area.
The Family Life Center (FLC), was built in 2005. Our Sunrise YTH room is located here, and it offers a full-size gymnasium!
Connect, Engage, Equip, Go is the vision that we raise up leaders and send them out to make disciples all over the world!

Connecting to Christ through active faith. Faith is not something that is supposed to be passive. Faith is something that moves us to action. We want you to know your spiritual gifts that God has given you to impact the world today! When you come to Sunrise, we want you to be active!
Where we are headed...
We view everything through the lens of Connect, Engage, Equip, Go. And we define those as this: Connect: Attend an event, service, or group. Engage: Volunteer with one of our teams. Equip: Train to lead. Go: Do. We want everyone who steps into Sunrise Church to become a leader in whatever God has called them to do!
